About The Position

As a Security Officer - Chemical Access Control in Henderson, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, check credentials, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain highly visible, interact with visitors and staff, and utilize technology to support your duties. Requirements

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
