As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control procedures, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and vehicles.
Assist visitors, drivers, and staff with inquiries, providing excellent customer service while following site-specific security-related procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any irregularities.
Respond promptly to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site guidelines.
Document and report observations, incidents, and any unusual activities according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.
Support emergency response activities as required, coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders when appropriate.
Adhere to all site-specific policies and procedures to help to maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets.
