Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Field Patrol in Flower Mound, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access points, observe activity, document findings, and communicate clearly while delivering customer-focused service. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Having a guard card/license is preferred.
• Having access control/badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and document entries, deliveries, and/or contractor activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, reporting, and coordination with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Complete detailed reports on patrol observations, incidents, and policy-related actions, and communicate notable activity to Allied Universal supervision and site leadership.
