As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries, monitoring access points, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible to help deter incidents while delivering professional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen personnel, visitors, vehicles, packages, and/or shipments in accordance with site procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and report irregularities or prohibited items to site leadership and/or appropriate responders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and actions taken according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, loading zones, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
