Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening visitors, vendors, and/or drivers, and assisting with access control activities at an industrial location.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, issue visitor badges or passes, and maintain detailed access logs and related records.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the building, warehouse, production areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
- Support shipping, receiving, and delivery traffic by directing authorized vehicles, confirming access permissions, and following post orders for restricted areas and materials movement.
