As an Access Control Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license and may include vehicle patrols to support site operations, maintain a visible presence, and help deter security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, production-area access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Document security-related observations, access-control activity, and incidents accurately and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
