As a Security Officer Visitor Registration Associate in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be 21 years of age or older.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an educational setting.
  • Monitor visitor access, check identification as required, and direct students, staff, faculty, and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
  • Maintain awareness of activity in the lobby and entry areas to help support orderly operations and help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Complete assigned logs, reports, and other documentation related to front desk activity, visitor management, and/or incidents.
