Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Being able to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas, assisting with access control, visitor interactions, and other security-related duties in accordance with post orders.
• Complete routine reports and incident documentation, noting daily activities, hazards, and/or policy-related issues for follow-up by Allied Universal and property representatives.
