As a Security Officer Bilingual Hospital Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly in Spanish and English, and report security-related concerns. Requirements

  • Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following healthcare facility protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, surrounding grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points, check credentials as required, and assist with visitor direction and access-control procedures.
  • Document incidents, observations, and activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency personnel as needed.
