Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors at the front desk by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies for a financial services location.
  • Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify identification and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized entry through approved screening and sign-in practices.
  • Answer questions, direct guests to the appropriate contacts or departments, and support a professional front desk presence throughout the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and other documentation related to access activity, incidents, and daily front desk operations.
