Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a leading financial institution, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees. Your primary responsibilities include managing access control, assisting guests, and providing exceptional customer service while helping to deter security-related incidents. You will utilize technology to support daily operations and contribute to a welcoming and secure environment, all while embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and employees in a professional manner while monitoring access to the location.
  • Verify identification and credentials for individuals entering the premises, following site-specific policies and procedures.
  • Assist with visitor registration and direct guests to appropriate areas as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as cameras, alarms, and access control devices from the front desk.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns from visitors, employees, and/or clients.
  • Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency response activities as directed.
