About The Position

As a Security Officer - Bank Reception in Orlando, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact, helping to create a welcoming and secure environment. Your role involves monitoring access, assisting visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service, all while supporting a culture built on agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of a financial institution location.
  • Monitor access to the premises by verifying identification and/or credentials of individuals entering the facility.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Assist with visitor management, including logging guests and issuing visitor badges as required by site policy.
  • Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or vendors to address inquiries and provide information related to site procedures.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns to appropriate personnel and/or management.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific procedures.
