Learn more: aus.com/earnmore. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and patients. Your responsibilities include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and providing exceptional customer service to help create a welcoming and secure environment. You will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist visitors, patients, and staff at the front desk of the healthcare location, providing excellent customer service while following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Monitor access to the facility by verifying identification and/or visitor credentials, helping to maintain a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel as needed.
Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor and staff entry and/or exit, as well as any security-related incidents or unusual activity.
Communicate professionally with healthcare personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and site protocols.
Remain alert and attentive while at the front desk post, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines.
