About The Position

As a Security Officer - Bank Branch Patrol in Cleveland, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will assist staff and visitors with customer service and clear communication while documenting observations and reporting concerns. Requirements

Be 21+ years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including providing assistance to staff members and visitors as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location, including the lobby, office areas, ATM areas, and the exterior perimeter.
Monitor for unusual activity, unsecured doors, and/or suspicious behavior, and report concerns according to post orders.
Control access to designated areas by observing entry and exit points and directing visitors according to site procedures.
Complete security-related reports and logs, including incident reports, patrol documentation, and shift activity summaries.
Communicate promptly with site contacts, Allied Universal supervision, and/or local emergency services when conditions warrant.
Support opening and closing routines by observing for irregularities and reporting maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
