Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and control entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific protocols.
  • Support emergency and high-risk response activities, remaining prepared to address disturbances, suspicious persons, and/or other security-related incidents within the location.
