Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support employees and visitors with professionalism and care. In this role, you will help to discourage security-related incidents through a visible presence, strong communication, and customer service, while reflecting our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, with duties varying based on site conditions.
  • Support daily operations by maintaining accurate logs, reporting unusual activity, and following Allied Universal protocols for security-related concerns and/or workplace disruptions.
