Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorized entry, document visitor and vehicle activity, and help maintain controlled access to the facility.
Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed by established procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, loading areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter, reporting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
Maintain accurate logs, complete required reports, and communicate relevant shift information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.
