As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Badge Services in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team, communicating professionally and acting with integrity to help maintain a secure environment.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to controlled areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access control concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
  • Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
