You will assist with routine patrols, customer service, and daily security-related interactions while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and other security-related policies at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identities, issue visitor or temporary access credentials as directed, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, delivery disputes, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to supervisors, site contacts, and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
  • Observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic at gates, docks, and other access points, document security-related activity, and report unusual conditions, damaged barriers, and/or policy violations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, perimeter, parking areas, and shipping or receiving zones, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
