As a Front Desk Officer with Allied Universal at a leading automotive location, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees, providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will help to deter security-related incidents by maintaining a professional presence, managing access, and responding to inquiries. Requirements

  • At least 5 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors and employees by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the front desk of an automotive location.
  • Monitor access to the building by verifying credentials and assisting with visitor management processes.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences at the front desk.
  • Assist with emergency response activities as appropriate, including communication with site management and Allied Universal supervision.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity through attentive front desk presence and observation.
  • Support the enforcement of site policies related to security-related matters and provide information or directions to visitors as needed.
