As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will greet and assist visitors, communicate clearly with staff, and document observations and unusual activity. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all visitors and staff by following site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the proper chain of command.
Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or access issues.
Control access points by monitoring entrances, verifying authorization where required, and directing visitors and deliveries according to site procedures.
Complete detailed reports and shift logs on security-related activities, incidents, and patrol observations, and communicate updates during shift turnover.
