As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities as needed. Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related roles, law enforcement, or the military.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
Nice To Haves
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned areas and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or conditions and reporting them through proper channels.
