You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A concealed carry weapons permit is required.
  • A minimum of 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience is required.
  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site leadership and/or public emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, parking locations, and perimeter boundaries to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
  • Perform armed post duties in accordance with Allied Universal standards and site protocols, maintaining professional bearing while monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and supporting security-related response efforts.
  • Support access control and screening activities for employees, contractors, and/or visitors, helping to confirm authorized entry to designated areas while following site rules and reporting policy violations.
