As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Operations in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to customer and store needs. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Possession of a valid firearms permit is preferred.
Familiarity with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons is preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Possession of an Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, receiving and loading areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Maintain required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
