As a Security Officer Armed - Site Monitor in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service. This driving post requires an armed guard card or license and a valid driver's license that meets Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Have at least 3 years of security-related experience, law enforcement experience, military police experience, or military experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorizations, and maintain visitor and contractor access records in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following applicable armed post orders and escalation protocols.
Prepare clear, accurate reports on patrol activities, incidents, access concerns, and other security-related observations.
