As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated shelter locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Must have at least 3 years of either military, law enforcement or armed security experience.
Must pass a Physcial Fitness exam ( 1 mile run- 12 minutes, 22 sit ups, 12 push ups)
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
Monitor for unusual activity or potential hazards, reporting observations as required by site protocols.
Interact professionally with all individuals at the location, including visitors and staff, while maintaining a visible presence.
Assist with access control and verify the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as directed by site policies.
Support emergency response efforts and communicate clearly with Allied Universal management and local authorities as situations arise.
