This driving and armed position requires you to interact with the public, provide outstanding customer service, and respond to incidents as needed. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Level III Armed Guard License required for Texas.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
- Monitor for suspicious activity or potential hazards and report findings according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Assist with access control and verify the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.
- Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary during incidents.
- Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed.
