Job Description As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrols in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will carry out routine patrols and interact with clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements
- Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at financial institution locations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
- Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary to support the security-related needs of the location.
- Remain alert and prepared to respond to changing situations throughout the shift, adapting to the unique needs of a financial institution environment.
