Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and location-specific policies at a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter theft, trespassing, and other unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and security-related incidents, documenting details accurately and notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain authorized weapons and equipment in accordance with Allied Universal standards, applicable laws, and location requirements.
