You will monitor entry points, verify authorized access, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
  • Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor access points and verify authorization for residents, guests, contractors, deliveries, and other visitors entering the property.
  • Maintain accurate visitor, vendor, and vehicle access records in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the property, common areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or property concerns.
