As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling retail locations. This position requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your routine duties. You will remain highly visible to provide reassurance to the public, respond promptly to incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Level III Armed Certification is required for positions located in Texas.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Provide customer service by carrying out Allied Universal security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism while representing Allied Universal.
Maintain an armed presence at the location, adhering to all applicable laws and Allied Universal guidelines for armed posts.
Observe and report any incidents, hazards, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
Collaborate with store management and local law enforcement when necessary to address security-related incidents within the retail environment.
