As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a strong, visible presence. This is an armed and driving post, where you will engage with the public, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.
Assist visitors, staff, and/or contractors with access and information as required by site policies.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to the community.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
