Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or potential hazards, and assist with access control, crowd management, and incident response during busy shopping periods.
• Support store operations by communicating professionally with management, employees, customers, and/or first responders while following post orders and assigned protocols.
