Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
  • Monitor access points and verify entry authorization for employees, visitors, and vendors, helping to support established access control practices for a professional financial environment.
  • Maintain readiness for an armed post by following post orders, handling assigned equipment in accordance with policy, and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or procedural concerns to Allied Universal leadership.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
