As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, providing a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, engaging with the community, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

At least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management, site staff, and local law enforcement as required.
Document observations, incidents, and/or activities in detailed reports as directed by site protocols.
Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift, adapting to changing conditions and needs of the government location.
