Requirements

Graduate of Law Enforcement or Military Police Training Program or Equivalent.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for armed posts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the facility.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences in accordance with Allied Universal and client site protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement as required during emergency and/or security-related events.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned location to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
