As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This armed role involves engaging with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service, and responding to various situations with professionalism. Requirements

Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or address security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible security-related presence.
Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and other security-related equipment, following all applicable protocols and regulations.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients with inquiries or concerns while maintaining professionalism and discretion.
Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and local law enforcement when required to address incidents or emergencies.
