Join Allied Universal on an armed patrol post supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document activity, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements

• Be a graduate of a Law Enforcement or Military Police training program or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors and personnel at a government location by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify security-related hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site representatives and/or local public resources as needed.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring entry points, and observing for suspicious behavior consistent with post orders.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate timely updates via radio and/or phone in accordance with site requirements.
