Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
  • Have 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting observations and communicating with site contacts, law enforcement, and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including lobbies, offices, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access control activity by verifying credentials, observing visitor movement, and reporting unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or potential security-related concerns.
  • Maintain readiness of assigned equipment and post materials, follow all armed post protocols, and complete required reports, logs, and incident documentation in a timely manner.
