As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Technician in Coral Gables, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a residential community.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the community, including residential streets, common areas, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify access permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, property concerns, and/or unusual conditions to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Support community rules and post orders by addressing security-related concerns professionally, preparing accurate incident reports, and maintaining awareness of changing conditions throughout the location.
