Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
An Armed Guard Card or License is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the technology and media location, including both interior and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and control entry to restricted areas, verifying identification and credentials as required by site protocols.
Document and report any unusual activities, incidents, or security-related concerns according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.
Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary, following established communication protocols.
Participate in ongoing security-related training and maintain all required certifications for an armed post at a technology and media location.
