Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies and protocols.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location as well as the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance and guidance as needed.
Complete detailed and accurate reports on patrols, incidents, and observations during the shift.
Follow all protocols related to carrying and handling firearms in accordance with Allied Universal policies and local regulations.
