About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Macon, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a highly visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, always acting with integrity. An armed guard card/license is required.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to the client by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial services environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services and/or notifying site leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points and public areas, provide directions and assistance to visitors, and help support orderly access consistent with posted requirements.
• Complete detailed reports on incidents, patrol observations, and daily activities, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
