About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol in Castle Rock, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine foot and vehicle rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ Years' Armed Security/Law Enforcement/Military Experience.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• A Valid Firearms Permit is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Handcuffing Certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrol duties by conducting regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed.
• Control access at entrances and restricted areas by verifying identification, monitoring visitor traffic, and documenting entries and exits per site policy.
• Maintain a ready, professional armed presence by following Allied Universal post orders, completing required reports and logs, and performing weapon and equipment checks in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
