As an Armed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will carry out access checks, respond to calls for assistance, and deliver clear, professional communication and customer service. Requirements

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following established security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a controlled aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or badges, manage visitor processing, and document entries and exits according to site requirements.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Complete accurate reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate observations to supervision and/or the site representative in a timely manner.
