As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Full Time in Land O Lakes, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will provide exceptional customer service, clear communication, and support for visitors and staff. Requirements

  • Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
  • Possess a Corrections Officer License.
  • Possess a Law Enforcement Officer License.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific procedures.
  • Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
