As a Security Officer Armed Patrol with Active Clearance in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. At a dynamic technology location, our Armed Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to site needs, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing timely information with supervisors and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and support adherence to post orders related to restricted areas, equipment spaces, and other sensitive locations.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding incidents, patrol activity, visitor interactions, and/or maintenance-related concerns observed during the shift.
