Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5 or more years of armed security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location, including sales floor areas, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter points, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas for suspicious behavior, access concerns, and/or potential loss issues, reporting findings according to site protocols.
• Support retail operations by assisting with closing procedures, monitoring after-hours activity, and/or providing a visible presence during busy periods, special events, or high-value deliveries.
