In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. You will contribute to a professional environment through teamwork, integrity, and a caring approach while handling important security-related responsibilities with agility and reliability.

Requirements

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout assigned buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, deliveries, and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols and escalation procedures.
• Support incident reporting, post orders, and shift handoff communications while maintaining professional presence and attention to sensitive operational environments.
