As an armed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine foot and vehicle rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for service, document activities and/or incidents, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site staff while delivering customer service. Requirements

• Have 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Have Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, common areas, and perimeter points, as working environments and conditions may vary by assignment.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with visitor management and badge or key control per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notification of appropriate contacts, and documentation of events.
• Complete routine reports, incident reports, and patrol activity logs, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and/or site management.
